Reason for manual registration
This is a small wiki and in recent years there were many attempts to spam it. So we had to require a registration. Even simple captchas were not enough to keep spammers out, and we did not want to use one of the third party captcha services, which would have logged our users there.
This creates an access burden for which we are a sorry, but de-spamming too much effort.
